Turning up the Gothic just a notch, Dan Hillier has produced some fantastic pen and ink prints of Gothic mask and head wear. Pretty dark stuff, faces attached to masses of feathers and snakes, creating nightmarish characters. I really like pen and ink stylee prints, I think since I first saw The Divine Comedy by Dantes Alighieri, illustrated by Gustav Dore. The complex line detail and cross hatching really adds a dark murky layer to the images for both artists.
